After sharing my dream with you in April I got some really nice responses, but nothing that really got me moving any closer towards my dream yet. And then it got quiet… I was busy with my job at the office, my Reiki practice and everything else in life that needs attention and takes away your time. Didn’t put much time and effort into my dream, except for thinking and dreaming about it even more.

Then I got to go to Ibiza, what a wonderful place!! What a lovely holiday! Even though I was there to work at a retreat a friend of mine organised, it really felt as a holiday to me. I came home fully recharged and connected to my heart again. As soon as I came back I started thinking about going back to Ibiza and not even a full month later I decided to quit my job and just go for it! I’m going to Ibiza!!!

At first I thought I just wanted to get away from ‘normal life’ again for a while, discover something new. But now I realise it’s much more than that! It’s moving towards my dream! I’m gonna live in Ibiza (which is part of Spain – where I want to build my dream), will learn Spanish (need that! – already practicing with the DuoLingo app), meet lots of free spirits (who can help me to keep dreaming BIG and maybe someone can help me find a piece of land/little village I can buy), live in nature (love that!) and hopefully I’ll have a job where I can learn some useful skills (like organising retreats, organic farming, building things or anything else that I can use with pursuing my dream). So things are moving!! The more I think about it, the more excited I get! This is what I want and this is what makes me happy!!!

So far I quit my job and booked my ticket (August 29 it is!), still need to find a job and housing at Ibiza (hopefully combined!) and need someone for my house here. But I’m sure things will work out exactly as they need to be. It feels so good, that I’m sure everything will be taken care of! “When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it” (Paulo Coelho, The alchemist), so I trust that’s what will happen. And in the meantime, I’m just enjoying the journey!
